Well, I've been a bit of a lackadaisical blogger as of late. It's been a busy, fun summer so far and it has just been flying by! I can't say we've really done all that much stuff, but we sure have gotten in a good amount of summer time lazing around. The weather here in Napa has been amazing so far. We've had two heat waves, but otherwise have had endless days of blue skies, light wind, and sunshine. We did have a week or so of hazy skies and poor air quality due to the wildfires, but nothing too bad. We've spent many lazy mornings hanging around in our pajamas, followed by afternoons of reading and playing endless ball games in the yard. It's amazing how little the boys need to keep them entertained for hours- a ball, a bat, some sand, a bike, a few construction trucks and we are good!
Here are a few pics from a recent "art morning".
The artists at work.
A Sam original. I'm not sure if you will be able to see what he drew, but it is "Napa, flooded, where everyone had to ride surfboards to get anywhere."
My picture (drawn with the help of a book). Note the scowl from Patch, from having to pose.
Elias' contribution- both his picture and his face are part of the exhibit!

What fun! You are an inspiring mom and the boys are lucky to have you.
