We were hanging out inside, when Patch heard his neighborhood friends playing in front of our house. He came racing over with his shoes, desperate for me to put them on as fast as possible, so he didn't miss out on another minute of fantastic playtime. Of course, he was insistent that he wear his converse high tops- not the easiest shoes to get on. As I was struggling to put them on really quickly, he said, in his sweet, excited little voice, "Oh mom, we are really in a panic, aren't we?"
